Rock legends to perform this summer: Bachman & Turner and John Mellencamp

Windsor, ON – Caesars Windsor is thrilled to welcome two giants of rock n’ roll to the Colosseum stage, the legendary Bachman & Turner, reuniting for the first time in more than 20 years on Friday, July 25 at 9 pm.

The musical duo, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner, rose to the top in the mid-70s as Bachman-Turner Overdrive, creating a huge following with their stripped-down, blue collar rock, headlining some of the biggest arenas in the world including Madison Square Garden and London’s Odeon.

They have sold more than 30 million records worldwide including 120 platinum, gold and silver discs and this month were inducted in the Juno Hall of Fame. With a vast catalogue of rock anthems, enjoy a night of chart-topping hits including “Taking Care of Business”, “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet,” “Hey You,” “Blue Collar” and “Looking Out for #1” plus songs from their newest collaboration including “Rollin’ Along”. Also this summer, the legendary, award-winning rocker singer-songwriter John Mellencamp performs on the Colosseum Stage on Friday, August 1 at 9 pm. Mellencamp has achieved phenomenal global success, selling more than 40 million albums, winning multiple awards including a Grammy, 11 nominations and is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. Hear Mellencamp’s signature sound and unique timeless rock classics live and in concert, including “Hurts So Good”, “Jack & Diane”, “R.O.C.K. in the USA”, “Small Town” and more! Tickets start at $45 Canadian.

Tickets go on sale for both shows at noon on Saturday, May 3.

Ticket purchases can be made through caesarswindsor.com, ticketmaster.ca or at the Box Office located in the main casino building on the second floor, open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 8 pm. On concert days, the Box Office is open noon until midnight. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes and fees.
